Open Applications
Select Applications in the app. On a phone the bottom bar calls it Apply. Inside are four sections: Pipeline, Answers, Calendar and Compare.
Pipeline: your board
The Pipeline is a board with a column for each stage: Researching, Preparing Docs, Applied, Interview, Accepted and Rejected. Each grant you are pursuing is a card you drag across as things progress.
- Add a grant by clicking Apply on portal on it in Matches. That opens the funder's portal and starts tracking the grant here. Track does the same without leaving the page.
- While you gather documents and draft answers, keep it in Researching or Preparing Docs.
- Once you submit on the funder's portal, drag the card to Applied.
- When you hear back, move it to Accepted or Rejected. The app asks whether our match rating was honest, which is how we check the verdicts.
Each card keeps notes, the deadline, and the amount requested and awarded, as a grant, loan, equity or convertible note, in rupees or another currency. You can attach files from your document vault and share a read-only link to an application. An accepted grant gets a compliance card, covered in tracking compliance.
Six weeks after you mark an application Applied, we email you once to ask how it went, with three one-click answers: we won it, rejected, or still nothing. Hearing nothing back is the most common outcome, and it counts as an answer.
Answers: write once, copy into each form
Most grant forms ask the same things: your problem, your solution, your traction, your use of funds. Answers is a bank of eight core questions with word targets. Write each one once, then copy it into the next application. Nothing fills a scheme's form for you; you paste each answer across yourself. It keeps your messaging consistent and saves hours across a season of applications.
Calendar
The Calendar shows the deadlines of applications you are tracking and the dated grants in the catalog in one view. See never miss a deadline for reminders and what to expect from the calendar link.
Compare: grants side by side
Compare puts up to four grants next to each other so you can weigh amount, deadline and eligibility. Each grant gets the same verdict words you see in Matches, scored against your own profile, and the recommendation is written for your startup.
Common questions
How do I track applications?
Click Apply on portal or Track on a grant in Matches and it appears in your Pipeline. Move it through the stages as you apply, so you always know what is in progress and what needs attention.
Does Incubateer submit applications for me?
No. You apply on the funder's official portal. Incubateer helps you find, draft and track; you press submit yourself.
