An incubator account
At signup you choose between a founder account and an incubator account, and the choice is fixed afterwards. An incubator account opens on Portfolio. The main menu is Portfolio, CRM, Grant Library, Pushes, Applications and Reports. Playlists, Investors, Connect, AI Lab, Facilities, Portfolio Compliance, Success Stories and Resources sit under More.
Consent first: inviting startups
You invite a startup by its name, the founder's name, or the founder's exact email. The founder sees the invitation and chooses Accept or Decline, and can leave later. Until they accept, you see only the startup's name, the founder's display name, sector and stage, and nothing can be pushed or emailed to them. A founder can also name your incubator at signup and join your portfolio directly.
Portfolio
Portfolio shows your startups with counts of grants pushed, applying, won and money raised, plus applied, accepted and success rate across the portfolio. The grant radar lists, for each startup, matching grants with a real deadline in the next 45 days, soonest first, so you know who to nudge this week. A journey board lets you move startups between your own stages, and flags one that has sat in a stage for 30 days. Announcements reach every active founder in the app.
Push a grant to a startup
In Pushes, search the catalog, pick startups, add a note and push. The founder sees it on their Overview and it is added to their watchlist. Each push then moves on its own as the founder acts: sent, viewed, interested, applying, applied, won or passed. You can send a reminder from the board. Pushes, invitations and announcements arrive in the founder's app, not by email.
CRM and cohort intake
The CRM keeps a record for every portfolio startup: notes, calls, meetings, tasks with due dates, tags, custom fields, and one timeline that includes pushes, applications and outcomes. You can email active members individually, all at once or by tag. The intake board and a public cohort form at app.incubateer.com/apply/your-name take applications from founders who do not need an account. A CSV import turns known founders into invitations and everyone else into intake leads; nobody joins a portfolio without accepting.
Playlists
You can publish playlists, curated collections of grants, public or private. Founders find them in Saved and can subscribe. Subscribing does not send founders alerts yet, so if a grant matters to one startup, push it instead.
Reports
Reports shows a portfolio summary on screen that you can download as a text file, and the CRM has funnels for intake, portfolio and pushed grants. A CSV export of the portfolio is in the CRM. Portfolio Compliance shows your founders' grant milestones across the portfolio, overdue first.
Common questions
What does the incubator dashboard do?
It lets you manage your portfolio: invite startups, push specific grants to specific startups once they accept, follow each push from sent to won, keep a CRM and run cohort intake, and publish curated playlists your founders can subscribe to.
Can I see which startups applied or won?
Yes, for startups that have accepted your invitation. Portfolio and Pushes track applications and wins across your portfolio, and Reports gives you a summary to download.
