Managing your account

Account Last updated 17 October 2026 4 min read

The bits that keep your account running: handling more than one startup, keeping your profile current, exporting your data, choosing notifications, resetting a password, and reaching a real person when you need help.

Quick summary Use the startup switcher for more than one startup, Edit Profile (your avatar in the sidebar) to keep matches sharp, Export My Data on Overview to download your data, Settings and alerts for notifications and theme, the 6-digit reset code on the sign-in screen for a forgotten password, and hello@incubateer.com to reach a person.

More than one startup

One account can hold several startups. Use the startup switcher at the top of the app to add a new startup and to move between the ones you already have. Grants are matched for whichever startup is active.

Editing your profile

Your profile drives matching and scoring, so keeping it current is the most useful account task. Open Edit Profile from your avatar in the sidebar. It covers your location, what you are building, sector, stage, team, revenue, funding needed, website, DPIIT, Udyam and founder category, plus an optional public profile page that stays off unless you turn it on. For more, see how eligibility scoring works.

A few things cannot be changed in the app: whether the account is a founder or an incubator, your email address, and the state or emirate you chose at signup. If one of those is wrong, email us.

Getting your data out

Export My Data on Overview downloads your profile and applications as a file. It does not yet include your documents, watchlist, saved searches or compliance items. Export profile, under More, is different: a one-page startup profile you can print, save as a PDF or copy, for an application or a stakeholder.

Settings and alerts

Settings and alerts, at the bottom of the sidebar, is where you choose which notifications you get and set the theme (system, light or dark) and reduced motion. Deadline reminders for grants you are applying to have their own switch there. The weekly digest has its own unsubscribe link at the bottom of every digest, and you can stop all email at any time.

Subscribing to a playlist does not send alerts yet. To be told when a grant is closing or opens again, use Set alert on the grant itself.

Password reset

If you are locked out, choose the forgotten password option on the sign-in screen at app.incubateer.com. Enter the email tied to your account and we email you a 6-digit code, valid for 15 minutes. Enter it and set a new password. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder before trying again.

Deleting your account

Delete account is at the bottom of Edit Profile. It removes the account.

Contacting support

If something is not working or a guide did not answer your question, email hello@incubateer.com. A real person reads every message. You can also use the contact page.

Tip Before you write in, tell us which screen you were on and what you expected to happen. The more specific you are, the faster we can sort it out.

Common questions

How do I change my email or plan?

You cannot change your email in the app yet, so email hello@incubateer.com and we will help. There are no plans to change: nobody is charged today, and pricing will be published before anyone is asked to pay.

Can I manage more than one startup?

Yes. Add startups with the startup switcher and move between them. Your grant matches update for whichever one you have selected.
