Step 1: Sign up
Go to app.incubateer.com and create an account as a founder. You sign up with your email and a password of at least 8 characters, with upper and lower case letters, a number and a symbol. There is no Google sign-in, nothing to install and no card needed.
We then email you a 6-digit code. Enter it to verify your email; the rest of the app opens once you do. If it has not arrived in a few minutes, check your spam folder.
India and the Gulf come first, and founders anywhere can see the grants open to them. The signup form lists every country, with India and the six Gulf states at the top. Pick yours: you see your own country first, then programmes open to your region, then worldwide ones. State-level ranking is built for India and the Gulf only, and the app tells you when coverage for your country is still thin.
Step 2: Fill in the signup steps
Signup asks a few questions in four short steps. Each answer shapes the grants you will see, so answer honestly rather than aspirationally:
- Your Identity. Your name, email, password, country and state or region. Choose your state carefully: it decides which state schemes rank first, and it cannot be changed in the app later.
- Your Startup. Startup name, industry, team size, revenue, the problem you solve, and your stage: Idea, MVP, Growth or Scale. Many grants are stage-gated, so this matters. If you are part of an incubator registered on Incubateer, you can name it here.
- Eligibility Boosters. All optional: the year you were founded, your legal entity, founder category, DPIIT and Udyam status, previous funding, how much you need and when, and your website. These are what most schemes gate on, so filling them in sharpens your matches. You can skip ahead from this step and add them later.
- Your Vision. A short mission or bio.
Step 3: See how your profile drives matching
Once you are in, open Matches. Every grant there is ranked against your profile and carries a verdict: strong match, worth a look, possible fit or long shot. Overview shows what to act on this week and how grant-ready you are, and Matches is where you browse the full ranked list.
Because matching is profile-driven, an incomplete profile gives you weaker matches. If you skipped anything at signup, add it from Edit Profile (your avatar in the sidebar). The verdict you see is only as honest as the inputs you give it.
Step 4: Add and switch between multiple startups
If you run more than one venture, you do not need separate accounts. Use the startup switcher at the top of the app to add a new startup and fill in its details.
To move between them, open the startup switcher and pick the one you want to work on. Grants are matched for whichever startup is active, so you always see the right list.
Common questions
Do I have to pay to start?
No. Nobody is charged today and no card is needed to sign up. Pricing is still being worked out, and the price will be published before anyone is asked to pay.
How quickly do I see grant matches?
As soon as you have verified your email and filled in your startup details. The more you add, especially sector, stage, state and registrations, the sharper the matches.
Ready when you are
Set up your startup and see your matches.
It takes about two minutes. No card required to start.
