Using Your Plan: Journey, Co-Pilot, Forge, Impact

Your Plan 5 min read

The Your Plan tab is where the grant chase becomes a plan you can actually follow. It has four sections, each doing one job: Journey, Co-Pilot, Forge, and Impact. Here is how to use each one.

Quick summary Open Your Plan, then move between four sections: Journey (map your milestones), Co-Pilot (get guidance on next steps), Forge (keep working notes and drafts), and Impact (track what actually happened). They sit side by side inside the same tab.

Open the Your Plan tab

Select Your Plan in the app. Inside, you will find the four sections. You can move between them freely as you work: there is no fixed order, though many founders start in Journey and end up in Impact.

Journey: map your milestones

The Journey section is for milestones, the markers that show where your startup is heading. Lay out the steps ahead of you, whether that is getting registered, shipping a prototype, landing first revenue, or applying to a specific grant. Journey turns a vague to-do list into a sequence you can see and work through, and it gives the rest of the app context for what stage you are in.

Co-Pilot: get guidance

The Co-Pilot section is for guidance. When you are unsure what to do next, Co-Pilot helps you think it through in the context of your startup and your milestones. Use it to pressure-test a plan, understand what a grant expects, or work out the next sensible step. It is there to advise, not to act on your behalf.

Forge: working notes and drafting

The Forge section is your workspace for notes and drafts. As you research grants and shape applications, Forge is where you keep the raw material: rough answers, problem statements, numbers you are still figuring out, anything in progress. Treat it as the scratchpad where work takes shape before it goes anywhere official.

Impact: track outcomes

The Impact section is for tracking what actually happened. As milestones land and applications resolve, record the outcomes here. Impact gives you an honest view of progress over time, what you set out to do versus what came of it, which is exactly the kind of evidence many grants and incubators want to see.

How the four fit together Journey sets the direction, Co-Pilot helps you choose the next step, Forge is where the work gets done, and Impact records the result. You will move between them constantly. That is the point: one tab for planning, doing, and reflecting.

Switching startups

Your Plan is specific to whichever startup is active in the startup switcher. Each startup keeps its own Journey, notes in Forge, and Impact record. If you run more than one venture, check the switcher before you start so your milestones and notes land in the right place.
