Startup grants roundup: 1 July 2026

Weekly roundup Last updated 17 October 2026 4 min read By Mahesh Kadamkode, Incubateer

A short pick of Indian startup grants that are open or worth knowing this week, with what each gives and who it fits. Always confirm the current round on the official site before you build a plan around a number.

This roundup was accurate the week it was written and the deadlines in it have since passed. For what is actually open, see everything closing in the next 60 days, which is regenerated from the catalog rather than written once.

MSME credit through CGTMSE

Not a grant, but useful: a collateral-free business loan backed by a government guarantee. Register on Udyam first. See our guide.

DPIIT Startup Recognition

No government fee, and still worth getting. It brings the income-tax holiday under section 80-IAC, self-certification under labour and environment laws, the IPR fast-track with fee rebates, and access to state schemes that ask for it, such as TANSEED and the KSUM Productisation Grant. It was also required for SISFS, which closed to new applications on 31 May 2026. See our guide.

Stand-Up India

Bank loans for new enterprises, with a mandate at every branch to back at least one woman and one SC or ST founder. See our guide.

Maharashtra Startup Week

Pitch to state government departments; winners receive paid work orders to deploy their product. A government customer plus revenue. See our guide.

Indian government grants, the full list

Central schemes, DST and DBT grants, MSME programmes, and every state fund worth your time, with amounts and apply links. See our guide.
